Nicknamed as "Singapore Dolphin". In reference to her ability to perfect pitch high-notes by the local media. Rachel is one of the most sought after singer in Singapore.

 

Rachel was discovered on MediaCorp's Channel U Talent Show "Campus Superstar 2009" where she finished the competition as the female champion. She was later chosen to represent Singapore in Taiwan's hit show "One Million Star 5 超级星光大道 5", where she became the 1st Singaporean who achieve full marks from all the judges, gaining recognition for her stellar vocal skills on International Stage.

 

In 2011, she was invited by StarHub to represent Singapore again in Hong Kong's TVB Asian Chinese Singing Competition, bringing home the 1st runner up trophy; her exposure in the competition also led her to Shanghai's International Asian Wave Competition in 2012. Carving a name for herself in China Pop Industry. Rachel also took part in many big scale shows including Child Aid 2009 and Chingay 2013.

 

Her big break through came when she sang the theme song for the movie "Dangerous Liaison" Starring Zhang Ziyi, Cecilia Chung & Zhang Dong Jian. Rachel gained rave reviews from the Chinese Media when she performed the theme song "爱来得太晚" live at the Gala-Premier of the movie. On social media, the music video garnered 170k hits within 2 days in China.
