Lindy Chia started events management in People’s Association after graudating from NUS Arts. Being effectively bilingual, she has a personality that encompasses wit, talent and mass appeal. Prior to her events management career, she had joined over 50 singing competitions since 18 and won many championship. Whether it is performing for foreign delegations, big corporations, community events, dinner and dance, Lindy has the versatility to engage all. She has also hosted many ministerial events that requires instant speech translation.

Upon winning the first runner-up title in Radio Corporation Singapore Golden Mike Awards 2000, she took up the challenge to be a part-time producer with Mediacorp. Lindy has hosting & singing experience of more than 13 years to boast of. She received her extensive vocal training under her veteran artiste father since young age. She is passionate about the stage and comes alive in front of audiences. She has hosted and sung in various occasions and is always open to new ideas and projects. She can sing in Jap, Chinese, Eng and Hokkien.

 

She attempted her first musical- 881 musical in 2011 in the Esplanade. She had just completed her second musical in Shanghai with Toy Factory and recently sang and hosted for a sold out concert with the Philharmonic Wind Band in the Esplanade Concert Hall. She also did a Hokkien concert at the Esplanade recital studio in Aug 2012 and is constantly participating in events and projects.
